An historical shift – the end of transgender discrimination. A workshop on how to approach transgender issues led by a pupil

Sally-Anne Huang - James Allen’s Girls’ School

I have been head of JAGS since September 2015 and, for almost eight years before that, was head of Kent College Pembury. Previous posts include housemistress at Sevenoaks School and Senior Housemistress and Deputy Head at Roedean; I have been on the governing body of three independent schools and have experience of prep and co-education in this way. My career has left me with a particular interest in pastoral care and adolescent mental health. I teach Classics and English and recently completed a Masters degree in Children’s Literature, specialising in Freudian approaches to young adult novels.
