About Roland Martin

Roland Martin was a Gloucestershire Foundation Scholar at Rendcomb College, Cirencester before reading English and Related Literature at The University of York. After seven years at Newcastle-under-Lyme School, he moved to Eton where Roland spent thirteen years, including six as a House Master. Roland returned to Rendcomb as Headmaster in 2011 and was appointed to lead City of London Freemen’s in 2015. Further professional development has included learning with the National College for School Leaders and The Harvard Graduate School of Education as well as with ISI as an EQ inspector. Roland is chairman of The Futures Group for The Society of Heads and is a committee member.
