About Simon Hinchliffe

Simon Hinchliffe was educated at Aston Comprehensive School, Rotherham and the University of Durham where he obtained a first class honours degree in Geography. He went on to complete a PhD at the School of Geography and Geosciences, University of St Andrews. Simon achieved international recognition for his research in Quaternary Science and lectured at the School of Applied Sciences, University of Wolverhampton. He competed a PGCE at Moray House, University of Edinburgh and a MEd in Educational Leadership and Management with the Open University following a move into secondary education. Simon taught at Wolverhampton Grammar School becoming the Head of Sixth Form in 2010. He was appointed to the position of Deputy Head at Bradford Grammar School in 2014 and became the Headmaster in 2016.
