Mindfulness in Schools Enhancing Resilience, Performance & Wellbeing – Friday 5 June 2015 – Hampton School

As the body of research into the benefits of mindfulness for young people and those who care for them continues to grow, school leaders are increasingly keen to explore its potential as part of a balanced approach to education.  As one of the first schools in the UK to develop mindfulness lessons and embed the subject within the curriculum (since 2008), Hampton teaches a course to all Fourth Year (Year 10) pupils alongside a wellbeing and resilience programme.  Mindfulness courses are also run for staff at Hampton and guests from other local schools.

Further details of this event can be found on the Hampton School website (www.hamptonschool.org.uk/mindfulnessconference) or by emailing the Head of Mindfulness & Wellbeing at Hampton, Mr Mark Nicholson (m.nicholson@hamptonschool.org.uk), who is the conference organiser.
