Well-being classes

 

Project description

  • Pilot classes for Year 10 and Year 11 in association with the Institute of Well-being at the University of Cambridge.
  • Taught by the PSHE teachers.
  • To develop the child's understanding of their body, mind and emotions.
  • The focus will be on relationships, with ourselves with others, with the environment, with technology etc.
  • The intellectual underpinning is the word of Professor Seligmon of Harvard on Positive Psychology and Lord Layard of the LSE.

Benefits

  • Growth in self-understanding, motivation and sense of happiness among pupils.
