A 'Leading from the Middle' Collaborative

Project description

Trent College has led the organisation of a collaborative 'Leading from the Middle' programme for the academic years 2006-07 and 2007-08. This has involved 17 participants each year from 7 schools, 2 secondary (including Trent) and 5 primary schools (including the Elms, Junior School to Trent), who are all part of an Independent/State school partnership for 2006-08. The programme has been fully funded from the ISSP. The aim of the 'Leading from the Middle' has been to support professional development and develop links between the member schools.

Benefits

• Three of the participants from Trent have now moved on to leadership pathways and will be leadership coaches on this year's 'Leading from the Middle'
• We have set up one teacher exchange for a day
