RGS Worcester is a fully co-educational - 2-18 years of age - non-denominational, Independent, day school of 800 pupils.
RGS Worcester offers young people a top-quality academic education and a wonderful preparation for real life. Our eighteen year-old leavers go on to a wide variety of elite universities in the UK and abroad, and they carry with them impressive personal qualities which ensure that they are in pole position in an increasingly competitive jobs market. I am proud of the fact that all of our pupils have the confidence to look adults in the eye and engage in a proper conversation.
Visitors to RGS often comment on our welcoming atmosphere, the friendliness of our people and the positive relationships between pupils and staff. Learning to co-operate, be part of a team and to respect other people and yourself are central to our mission. RGS is an ancient foundation- one of the oldest schools in the UK in fact- but we are a thoroughly modern, affordable, unstuffy organisation looking to the future and not interested in congratulating ourselves on past glories.
Leavers go far and wide, including Oxbridge, Durham, UCL and all the Russell Group universities, medical schools, as well as fashion and performing arts. An increasing number look to overseas universities.
