Parents ‘feel like social lepers’ for choosing private schools

In an article in the Telegraph, 30/10/2013, Graeme Paton reports on HMC Chairman Tim Hand's speech at the 2013 annual conference.

Paton focuses on Tim Hands' comments that “making the journey to independent education, parents are currently made to feel, is an unacceptable mobility" and the "illogicality" that it is seen as acceptable to spend money on the purchase of a car, holiday or house, yet not on the education of a child.
