William Richardson, General Secretary of HMC, appeared on BBC News at Ten yesterday and BBC Radio 4 World at One today to discuss the social mobility report published today by Alan Milburn, the former Labour minister appointed as the Coalition’s social mobility tsar. In the report, Milburn says that universities must do more to increase the number of students from poor backgrounds.
