Andrew Trotman - Aspirance

Andrew trotman

In 2011, he retired from St Edward’s School, Oxford where he was Warden for seven years. He has a Masters degree in Coaching and Mentoring, and now runs Aspirance, a company recruiting and developing leaders in education. He has recently appraised five HMC heads and has worked as a coach with seven heads in HMC.

Leadership coaching has a focus on the capacity for leadership rather than the skills. Think of the athlete preparing for the decathlon for the next Olympics: the individual events require training in specific skills. The athlete also has to develop resilience, self-confidence, endurance and the capacity for development. Working with a leadership coach can develop the leader’s inner core and potential for growth.
