Edinburgh Open Education Conference

Now, more than ever school leaders need opportunities to meet, to discuss the issues we are all facing and to be inspired to face the future with confidence.

The Edinburgh Open Education Conference will be an important opportunity to do just that. Hosted by HMC and IAPS at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on 7 October and supported by Tes, attendance at the Edinburgh Open Education Conference will be free for leaders of state-funded schools and colleges across the UK and Ireland.

The day will be packed with high quality speakers, including Edinburgh's own Sir Geoff Palmer, Sarah Brown of Their World and the Global Business Alliance for Education, and Dr Avis Glaze, the charismatic Canadian educationalist. There will be a panel discussion featuring leading educational figures from across the British Isles, a fantastic exhibition and a lunchtime concert given by some of Scotland's most talented young musicians. If all goes to plan, there will even be an appearance from one of the most influential people in the world.

As education across the UK and Ireland looks to the post-pandemic future, the conference will provide a great start to a new school year with lots of fresh ideas and the chance to meet some of the people who will be making a difference in the coming months and years.  State school leaders may book their free place using the booking form below.
