Ian Thomas - Pilot Financial Planning
Ian studied at Universität Düsseldorf and the University of York and holds a BA (Hons) in Economics. He has over 25 years’ experience in financial services and previously held a number of management positions at JP Morgan, Fidelity Investments, Old Mutual Wealth and AXA.
Ian is a Chartered Wealth Manager and co-founded Pilot Financial in 2011. Pilot offers pension and employee benefit consulting services to the independent schools sector, in addition to financial planning and wealth management for private clients
He is a Governor of Blundell’s School in Devon.
Using case studies to illustrate the key issues, Ian Thomas will draw on his experience of advising independent schools and Heads on pensions to provide an update on the latest retirement planning and remuneration trends. The workshop will address a range of inter-related subjects, including:
