An education at Knox Grammar School means becoming part of a larger community which involves you in a partnership with the School, the School staff, the School community and your family. This partnership operates on a number of levels.
On the individual level we believe that successful schooling only occurs when parents, the School, School staff and the student are all working towards the same goals. We value your support and appreciate your input and by working together your son will get the most out of his educational experience at Knox.
Knox is also a community where relationships of a high quality form a bond of great importance beyond the family grouping. We encourage all parents to participate in the Knox Parents’ Association (KPA) and/or the Knox Mothers’ Group, both of which aim to maintain and foster the goodwill and interest of parents and friends of the School and to support and assist the School in a practical and financial manner. Annual events supported by these groups include Knox At Home, Gala Day and Garden Day.
All Knox boarder parents are also automatically members of the Knox Boarder Parents' Supporters Group. This group meets once per term to discuss matters relevant to boarding. The Association has two central aims; to promote and support a friendship network for boarder parents and to engage in activities to develop and promote boarding at Knox.
