Norwich School is a co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged four to eighteen. Named as East Anglia Secondary School of the Year by the Sunday Times, Norwich School is a traditional, yet lively place where boys and girls enjoy a rounded and stimulating education. The School is characterised by strong, warm relationships and a profound appreciation of scholarship.
Norwich School is divided into two sections: the Lower School and the Senior School. The Lower School is the base for our 4-11 year old pupils (Years Reception-6), while the Senior School caters for the 11-18 age range (Years 7-13). General information about the whole school can be found in this section of the website while more specific details about Admissions and the Lower and Senior Schools are elsewhere.
Norwich School selects on academic potential, attitude, and all-round ability. We are looking for positive young people who relish challenging subjects, are enthusiastic about study and are willing to contribute to the broader aspects of school life: whether in music, drama, sport, debating, clubs, societies, Sea Scouts, the Duke of Edinburgh\\\'s Award, charitable fund-raising, community service or the many other activities that they will encounter here.
