With over 600 pupils, Prior Park College, Bath, is one of the largest independent, co-educational, Catholic boarding and day schools in the UK. Whilst retaining full boarding at its heart, Prior Park also caters for day and weekly boarding students.
Prior Park offers stimulating opportunities for pupils to contribute to our vibrant and creative community. We aim to inspire and challenge every one of them during their time here, to prepare them for the next stage of their lives.
Day pupils join us at the age of 11+ from around 20 feeder schools including The Paragon in Bath, the Junior School of Prior Park College. Preparatory school pupils join at the age of 13+ including those from Prior Park Preparatory School in Cricklade, Wiltshire. With a further intake of students joining our Sixth Form each year. Prior Park is home to 140 full and weekly boarders aged 13-18. With 56% boys and 44% girls this is a truly co-educational school with staff and students recently celebrating the 30th anniversary of co-education at the College. Our House-based pastoral care is perceived by parents to be greatly supportive of each individual.
Prior Park offers stimulating opportunities for pupils to contribute to our vibrant and creative community and provides an extensive co-curricular programme. We aim to inspire and challenge every one of them during their time here, to prepare them for the next stage of their lives. Our Christian ethos informs our values and development of the whole person. We believe a child’s education should be exciting, interesting and an enjoyable journey towards a realisation of their full potential.
Prior Park College provides an established co-educational, friendly environment which encourages academic confidence and success. We also give all students the opportunity to try new activities or build on skills they already have through our extensive co-curricular programme. We believe we offer \'An Education For Life\'.
