Reed's School's academic standing is strong and growing but not to the detriment of its traditionally friendly and supportive ethos.
The School aims to develop in each child a sense of achievement, building upon their individual strengths. At Reed's this means offering a stimulating environment and one in which each pupil can excel through the broad range of academic, cultural and sporting opportunities available. Andrew Reed's vision to support boys or girls who have disadvantaged home lives influences what we do. As a school we hope to continue to build on his ideals which were to care for others. Thus all our pupils have a commitment to some form of service during their time at the School.
Reed's School is a friendly and nurturing place in which your child will be given every opportunity to find success. The School seeks to implement a clear framework within which pupils can flourish but still be independent individuals; it sets and expects high standards; it is strongly connected to the world outside, both locally and internationally. We seek to encourage and reward our pupils' achievements and are particularly keen to continue the work of the Foundation in supporting disadvantaged children. We are blessed with wonderful grounds and facilities and we hope that every adult and child will have a richer life as a result of their experience at and connections with Reed's School.
