Chartwells Independent has over 50 years’ experience working exclusively to cater for independent schools and colleges, having secured our first partnership in 1969, a partnership we still hold to this day.

Our purpose is to create outstanding educational experiences which help sow the seeds for pupils to make choices that are good for them and good for our planet. We create fresh, flavourful, and nutritious food tailored to the likes and tastes of each and every school.

Every decision is focused on the health of our pupils and planet whilst we instil lifelong wellbeing behaviours. We want to work with our clients and partners to be a catalyst for wider change and achieve carbon net zero by 2030.
