Exhibitor Stand 11
We are best described as the architects and enablers of school estate decarbonisation: we develop school estate decarbonisation plans, then manage the projects arising from the plan. The plan describes how a school can cease using fossil fuels for all its power, heat and transport needs – the key challenge in becoming net-zero. The plan establishes what the school energy infrastructure will look like once decarbonised – the net-zero school estate – in maybe 10 to 20 years’ time. It then works back from that endstate to determine the required energy efficiency and plant conversion programme, including what can be done in the short term to reduce operating costs without jeopardising the long-term objective. Our primary focus is on the independent sector. Recognising the unique nature of schools, we study the sector and school requirements carefully: our intent is to offer bespoke, pragmatic, actionable plans and appropriate project management. Now recognised leaders in this field, our clients range from small preps to some of the largest schools in the country. Last year Nigel Aylwin-Foster was the keynote speaker on net-zero in schools at the HMC/IAPS conference, then ran a drop-in clinic for HMs. The same service is available this year at Stand 11.
