We are digital heritage experts creating inspirational resources for your school’s history and nostalgia by utilising the archives with alumni engagement. We are IT Specialists and paperless-Office and records management consultants for the formal records too..

The SDS Group have been working the HMC since 1999 when we digitised and fully indexed the Minutes, Reports and Committee Archives of the HMC going back to 1869.

Ensure future fund-raising potential by saving the memories of your alumni.

Don’t risk losing the social archive of a generation…

You will have seen the reports that Twitter/X is in a state of flux and has undergone significant changes in the past couple of years. Loosening of moderation policies has caused expressions of concern about the potential for misinformation and harmful content to spread on the platform and led to users turning off their accounts. That action, however, can lead to the complete loss of the posts and other information contained within an account.

Consider how much of your school’s information has been transmitted via a social media platform such as Twitter/X since its inception in 2010. Your School could have multiple accounts with thousands of posts. If that information were to be erased, how might it be regenerated? Would there be a gap in your School’s history causing it to lose relevance to the ‘social media generation’? Your School could lose the community memories which are being created now to engage with your future alumni or support the funding of future bursaries.

SDS Group is able to harvest posts from your School’s live Twitter/X accounts and create a searchable, user-friendly archive website. If Twitter/X ceased to exist (like Friends Reunited or MySpace for instance) or your accounts were turned off, your School’s posts would be protected.
