The International Baccalaureate

The International Baccalaureate is a non-for-profit foundation that authorises and accredits schools worldwide through education programmes for students aged 3-19. The programmes incorporate innovative education frameworks, pedagogy, curricula, and professional development.

The IB encompasses the best of international learning and teaching practice supported by a network of 70,000 educators worldwide.

Recognised internationally by governments, colleges, and universities, the IB presently supports over 5000 schools worldwide totalling just under 2,000,000 students.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers four core academic programs.

• The Primary Years Programme (PYP) caters to students aged 3-12, fostering cultural awareness and active learning.
• The Middle Years Programme (MYP), designed for 11-16-year-olds, emphasises independent learning and real-world application of knowledge.
• The Diploma Programme (DP), for students aged 16-19, cultivates a love of learning and prepares them for university and beyond. Finally, the Career-related Programme (CP), also for 16-19-year-olds, combines academic study with professional interests, equipping students with the skills necessary for their chosen career paths.
