Lodestone House

At Lodestone House, we believe school dining can be so much more than simply serving food.

Food has the power to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and create lasting memories. Every meal is an opportunity to nurture a deeper understanding of where food comes from, how it is produced, and the role it plays in our wellbeing and communities.

Our philosophy is simple: Garden to Kitchen to Classroom.

Through thoughtfully crafted menus, meaningful food experiences and engaging educational opportunities, we help pupils develop a genuine connection with food and the people who grow, make and prepare it.

This commitment extends beyond the school gates. Head of Food, Matt Bennett, regularly leads our supplier visits, taking school chefs to meet the farmers, growers and producers behind the ingredients they use every day. These experiences bring food stories to life, fostering a deeper appreciation of quality, provenance, and seasonality.

We know great school food is about more than recipes. It is about relationships, understanding, and inspiring the next generation to explore the world through food. Whether you’re discovering Lodestone House for the first time or know us well already, we’d be delighted to share a little of what makes us who we are.

Please join us for a coffee and a conversation. We’d love to talk food, education and the difference they can make together.
