HMC Treasurer and Member, Brendan Wignall

HMC was sorry to learn of the death of our Treasurer and HMC Member, Brendan Wignall. Our thoughts and sympathy at this time are with Brendan’s wife Anne, and children Catherine and Hugh as well as the whole Ellesmere community that Brendan has stewarded so exceptionally for the past 27 years.

Brendan was determined to work to the end and even last week he was at his desk for an online HMC strategy meeting. Tributes will follow in due course, but I can think of nothing more characteristically Brendan than the last time I saw him.
