2G: To recognise unions or not, that is the question…? | Workshops

This workshop will consider the impact of increasing Union Recognition requests in our sector.

We will look at recognition agreements and alternative proposals to explore the benefits and challenges of working with unions in our schools. We will aim to answer members’ questions and discuss ways to work, with or without union recognition, to benefit the staff more widely, whilst also ensuring that the school’s strategic goals can be shared and met. Richard and Sue have had first-hand experience, over many years and covering different approaches, and will be happy to share their practical ideas, reflections and learning with colleagues.
