SchoolsMobile is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s HMC Conference Dinner at Warick Castle.

Our mission is to deliver a simple solution for schools, parents, and children, to help tackle tough digital safeguarding challenges.

We know that many digital issues originate outside the school gates but must be dealt with by the school – the impact often reaching across the whole community.

Our solution works on personal devices (and can also extend protection on school devices when they go home). Parents can switch it on in 90 seconds.

We want children to thrive in a digital world without fear.  We want to restore some balance in the use of technology, not by imposing ‘bans’ but by helping to create safer, healthier habits with less reliance on social media.

“Simple” is a word we love, but our other favourite word is “balance” – we want children to engage in technology in a positive, age-appropriate, and balanced way.

We are already protecting many children across the UK every day, and we have launched in an HMC school this term.

Their initiative has already blocked huge numbers of inappropriate items from social media companies and our security and threat protection has kicked in over 250 times. And that is in just two and a half weeks!

Our overarching aim is that in ten years’ time, we no longer read the stories and statistics that sadly have become commonplace in 2023.

SchoolsMobile’s vision is for all children in the UK to have access to effective online protection and safeguards both in and outside of the school gates by 2026.

Their solution aims to achieve this through an app which digitally safeguards children on both personal and school devices – on nearly any device on any connection (e.g. 3/4/5G, public/private WiFi). In just 90 seconds parents can turn on SchoolsMobile to provide threat protection, content filtering, and common sense, age-appropriate application control.
