1B: The future of Rugby Union in schools | HMC Autumn Conference 2023

Workshop synopsis:

This workshop will focus on the recent independent review of schools rugby commissioned by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The sport has a huge tradition in schools and, recognising some of the significant challenges facing the sport, the RFU is very keen to retain, and grow, its footprint. We will share the findings of the review, listen to views on the future of both contact and non-contact rugby and explore some of the planned actions going forward.
