ISC Census 2022

This report is based on a survey carried out in January 2022. All 1,388 schools in UK membership of the constituent associations of ISC (“ISC schools”) completed the survey.

“The ISC has once again seen a rise in fee assistance provision, with the amount for means-tested fee assistance rising to a total of £480 million”

Thank you to ISC schools for completing the census this year and doing so while coping with high rates of COVID.

This set of data describes the situation in January 2022 when many aspects of schooling in the UK were still far from normal. The report therefore provides further insight into the continued impact of the pandemic on the independent sector as well as starting to describe the road to recovery.
