There can be few schools in the UK which provide the range of opportunities we do.
We are a boarding school with many day pupils. We are a co-educational school. Pupils can join at 11, 13 or 16; some even join aged 12 or 14. In the Sixth Form we offer the traditional English A Level curriculum as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. We have a vast range of co-curricular opportunities ranging across sport, music, drama, dance, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, the Combined Cadet Force and numerous other activities and clubs. Pupils who join us can therefore develop their talents to the full: such bespoke education is, I believe, what all parents want.
We want our pupils to leave Haileybury as confident, balanced, ambitious human beings who have a strong set of values that will enable them to make a difference in the world beyond school.
We look after our pupils within a strong House structure where every one of them is well known and is supported by a broad range of people: Housemasters, Housemistresses, Tutors, the Chaplain, our Counsellor and prefects. We recognise that success in developing our pupils to the full depends on the teamwork we share with parents and guardians and on the pupils themselves.
