Situated in the beautiful village of Bloxham, Bloxham School is only 3 miles from the M40 London – Birmingham motorway and yet has all of the appeal of the beautiful Oxfordshire Cotswold village. Bloxham School enjoys superb facilities for academic work, sport, technology, the Arts, all found within a campus of great charm. A new library building, complete with internet café opened in April 2006 and even more recently additional provision for squash, art, drama and music have been added.
The school offers a supportive, caring and friendly environment that allows those with talent in any area of the school’s life to contribute and to succeed. The school, which is predominately boarding, is fully co-educational. Weekly boarding for the school’s Lower School (11 and 12 year olds) enjoys fantastic and homely facilities. Day pupils are thoroughly integrated within the school and a bus service from many local towns and villages operates for all pupils of the School.
Bloxham attaches great importance to the academic quality of its education. It offers a wide range of GCSE and A / AS Level courses. 98% of pupils go to University, including Oxford and Cambridge.
The school offers an impressive array of extra curricular activity across a wide spread of interests and many of the activities are generated by a mix of staff and pupil energy and expertise.
